ON SITE BREEDING:
S.L. DAVIDSON FARMS / Stallion Station offers full services on stallions of the highest quality
bloodlines available today. We are able to fulfill all your breeding needs. The stallion fee and
chute fee includes all normal reproductive palpations, inseminations, and ultra-sound
charges.
COOLED SEMEN:
DAV-AHLStallion Station provides the opportunity to receive semen from other quality
stallions while having your mare at home. Cooled semen involves the following charges:
Equitainer Usage Fee NO CHARGE
Semen Shipment $200 per shipment*
FED
Ex or UPS Shipping $75 per shipmen
Courier Fee on Airline Shipments $250 per shipmen
* A semen shipment includes the cost of collection and evaluation of the semen. The stallion
fee includes the first two semen shipments.
FROZEN SEMEN:
DAV-AHLStallion Station offers the option of receiving frozen semen from our stallions.
Details and costs are available upon request.
EMBRYO TRANSFERS:
DAV-AHL Stallion Station offers you the opportunity to enroll your mare in our embryo transfer
program. Details and embryo costs are available upon request.
TRANSPORTED SEMEN:
DAV-AHLStallion Station is equipped to receive semen transported from other stallions for
breeding your mare on site. The Chute Fee includes all normal reproductive palpations,
inseminations, and ultrasound charges, and will cover three (3) reproductive cycles:
Chute Fee: $650
FOALING SERVICES:
DAV-AHLStallion Station offers full time foaling services and care. Every effort is made to
assure the utmost in comfort and safety to both mare and foal.
Foaling Charge: $400
VETERINARIAN:
SEAN STRAIN, D.V.M., is available for those procedures that allow us to better service your
mares reproductive needs, such as the handling of cooled and frozen semen as well as
embryo transfers, in addition to daily observation, care and maintenance.
MARE CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
Pasture Mares $10.50 per day
Covered Paddock Mares $16.00 per day
Barn Mares $16.00 per day
Foaling Barn Mare
Mares with foals $16.00 per day +
Additional $2.50 per day for foal
